I live in Boone Iowa with three great kids and at 39 forever finally have my Bandit ..again. At the ripe old age of 11 saw Smokey and the Bandit and Oh Ya... I had to have one. I have owned three Bandits over the years and right now plan to be buried with my 3rd one. It has all power options except cruise....which is odd and has the 2nd design Hurst t-tops, 8 track, Olds 403 power plant which really runs great along with Flow master dual exhaust and ceramic coated Hooker headers and an Edelbrock manifold and K/N air filter, what a difference that made from stock, my TA can finally breath and sounds great. I'm the second registered owner and originally the was a southern California car it's whole life owned by the same lady, she sold it to a fellow in New Hampshire and from there it made it to Iowa. With 77,365 miles it has had no rust and runs and drives with no rattles, though it has been repainted with custom molded stripes, new machined snowflake rims all new weather-strips and for tunes a Pioneer system with a 1000 watts of power. These cars demand attention, I cant go anywhere without some kids wanting to race me or people at the pump looking at the car I'm really reliving my childhood and having a blast doing it. I'm east bound and down.
