This was taken at the Oakboro Cruise-in in Oakboro, NC.
I am a southern man by
birth! Born and raised in SC, I joined the Air Force right out of High School
and married just after basic training. After 4 years of the Air Force I moved
over to the Army as a tank driver until I graduated college and was commissioned
as an Air Defense Officer. Along the way I was blessed with 4 wonderful kids, 3
daughters and a son. I went on to attend seminary and became an Army chaplain in
1996. I am still a reserve chaplain with the Army Reserves and I pastor a church
in Locust, NC where I live with my wife, 2 at home daughters, with frequent stay
over's from my oldest daughter and two grandchildren.

My love for Trans Ams began at first sight. I particularly fell in love with the
styling of the 1977-1978 models. And I still think nothing has come along to
compare...CLOSE I will grant but not equal. I could never afford one until just
this past year. I have an SE Gold Edition that needs to have the interior
re-converted back from black. Somewhere along the way, an owner decided that
black looked much better. He did a fair job, even had black seat belts sewn in
on the previous camel belts but black isn't what belongs so as funds come
available, I will begin to turn it back.
