My name is Paul Jackson, I am married and live in London, Ontario, Canada.  I have enjoyed looking at the photo galleries of your web page and thought I would submit some pictures of my 1980 Turbo Trans Am SE.  I am the second owner of the car, a friend of mine bought the SE new on 31 August 1980, when he decided to sell the car, I purchased the vehicle from him on 14 May 1982.  Because of the cost of car insurance the car was first placed in my mother’s name, when I turned 25 I then officially became the owner.
 This is my first car, it has never been winter driven and has close to 73,000 kilometres on the odometer.  The car is completely original except for a Blaupunkt AM/FM stereo radio/cassette tape player and equilizer, parts of the exhaust system (mufflers, catalytic converter), new cruise control transducer, new power antenna motor and new sound proofing under the hood.
 My 1980 Pontiac Firebird Turbo Trans Am came with the following options:
Special Edition w/T- top, 4.9 litre turbo, automatic transmission, air conditioning, cruise control, electric window defrost, power windows, power antenna, AM/FM stereo radio/cassette tape player, tilt steering wheel, cast aluminum wheels (7 inch) and power front disc/ rear drum brakes.
 I have all the documentation on the vehicle including all warranties and the original bill of sale (in French as the vehicle was purchased in Montreal, Quebec).  I still get great enjoyment driving this car and have no plans to ever part with this vehicle.
